Job summary
W-Industries is seeking an ASME Quality Control Engineer to lead quality initiatives for energy and industrial projects in Spring, TX. You will oversee QMS maintenance, internal and external audits, and the development of PQPs and ITPs, ensuring compliance with ASME, ISO, and customer requirements.
Applicants should have 5+ years in ASME Quality Engineering/Quality Control, strong documentation skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across Engineering, Production, and Supply
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate degree in engineering, quality, science, or related field.
- CWI certification and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CQT, CMQ/OE) or equivalents preferred.
- Experience with ASME Codes, welding, fabrication, NDE, and QC documentation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce quality work practices.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, ASME Code, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead ASME code compliance reviews, audits, inspections, and documentation.
- Develop Project Quality Plans (PQPs) and ITPs; maintain quality procedures.
