This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for new product development risk analysis, characterization, and mitigation of electronic packages working with internal design and engineering teams and external suppliers to ensure manufacturing readiness for volume production. Responsible for defining product design rules and executing manufacturing process setup and risk mitigation based on technical risk assessment and empirical evaluation of IC package manufacturability and reliability. Contributes to and leads cross-functional coordination and risk assessment of new products. Authoring reports, presentations and documentation related to supplier support of Qualcomm product and internal evaluation of technical, schedule and cost-based development risks. Contributes to customer new product bring-up and enablement, as well as customer issue management/resolution. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
$129,165.00 - $190,800.00/year
