Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Senior/Principal ASIC Product Engineer to join the Post‑Fab Product Realization team on onsite work. You will lead development, production, and delivery of semiconductor IC products, defining test requirements, improving yields, and guiding verification across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field with five years of directly related experience, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q-level security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of directly relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
• Hands-on testing and debugging circuitry with instruments (oscilloscopes, analyzers, generators).
• Proficiency with design/verification tools such as Matlab, LabVIEW, LTSpice, ModelSim.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to deliver ASIC products for mission-critical applications.
• Define test requirements, processes, and verification plans.
• Analyze and improve yields across development and production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
