Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Senior/Principal MESA Post-Fab Production Engineer to join the Post-Fab Product Realization team in a hybrid role in New Mexico. You will collaborate across design, fabrication, and supply chains to optimize production workflows and deliver high-quality ASICs for national security applications.

You will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in semiconductor/microelectronics fabrication production.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across design, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain.
• Develop and report production status and risks; enable cross-functional communication.
• Resolve bottlenecks; support technology ramp-ups with leadership and teams.
• Oversee manufacturing processes for safe, efficient operations.
• Deploy resources to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Improve WIP, cycle time, and throughput in high-mix, low-volume environments.
