Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced ASIC Engineering Technical Leader to define, design, and verify ASICs and subsystems for Cisco platforms. You will lead high-performance chip activities, drive verification strategies, and coordinate with PD/DV teams to meet power, performance, and area goals.

Onsite role in the U.S. with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and robust design solutions across products.

Qualifications

• Typically: Bachelors + 8 years or related experience, or Masters + 6 years of related experience, or PhD + 3 years of related experience
• Strong expertise in ASIC design, verification, and architecture
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and design flows

Responsibilities

• Defines, architectures and designs high-performance ASICs
• Owns applications or multiple complex functional areas
• Oversees reusable code and its applications
• Creates reusable code to improve efficiency
• Debugs at system level
• Coordinates with stakeholders to integrate into PD and DV flows
• Owns the full electrical planning and specifications of interfaces
• Leads building blocks of multiple channels
• Drives design methodology from conception to production
