Description of Primary Duties
The Senior Art Exhibition ( SAE ) is an annual public affairs event hosted by the Gerontology Program that celebrates visual art created by adults age 60 and older. The SAE draws artists and attendees from across the Springfield region, featuring juried artwork, awards, and a public reception. The event is supported by community sponsors and engages students, faculty, and local organizations in meaningful intergenerational programming. The SAE Coordinator plays a key role in bringing this event to life, supporting everything from early marketing and community outreach to on-site event execution.
