Autodesk Flow Studio seeks a Senior Art Director / Designer to define and execute a modern, distinctive visual language across campaigns, product storytelling, and digital experiences.

This role is both conceptual and hands-on, partnering with creative, marketing, and product teams to translate complex VFX and simulation into clear, compelling storytelling for a technically engaged audience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Art Director or Designer in software, SaaS, or SMB environments.
• Strong portfolio across brand, digital, and social.
• Understanding of how VFX and simulation workflows translate into visual storytelling.
• Ability to concept and execute at a high level, moving from idea to final output.
• Experience designing for social-first environments and content-driven brands.
• Proficiency in typography, layout, motion, and visual systems; adept with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with collaborating with Technical Artists or within 3D/VFX pipelines.
• Curiosity and openness to using AI in creative workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment with focus.
• High creative standards and strong design judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design and art direct every touchpoint across Flow Studio experiences, from campaigns to product storytelling.
• Lead art direction across campaigns, product marketing, and social content with high craft and clarity.
• Develop and evolve a distinct visual system for Flow Studio that is modern and scalable.
• Create social-first content across formats and platforms tailored to audience engagement.
• Translate product capabilities, including VFX and simulation workflows, into clear visuals.
• Create assets across motion, static, and digital experiences.
• Partner with creative, marketing, and product teams to realize ideas grounded in real use cases.
• Collaborate with Technical Artists and VFX specialists to ensure credibility and strength.
• Ensure content is built from real product output, not purely abstract visuals.
• Build scalable design systems and templates to increase speed and impact.
• Experiment with AI-native tools to enhance output and team efficiency.
• Maintain a high bar for craft while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Push work to feel modern, relevant, and differentiated in the VFX/creative tools space.
• Develop a rich body of work that defines Flow Studio visually within the landscape.
