Autodesk’s Flow Studio seeks a Senior Art Director/Designer who can define a modern, distinctive visual language across campaigns, product storytelling, and social content. You will lead, craft, and evolve visual systems while translating complex VFX workflows into clear narratives for a technically informed audience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Art Director or Designer, ideally in software, SaaS, or SMB environments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing art direction and design across brand, digital, and social.
• Understanding of how VFX and simulation workflows translate into visual storytelling.
• Ability to concept and execute at a high level, moving from idea to final output.
• Experience designing for social-first environments and content-driven brands.
• Strong typography, layout, motion, and visual systems; proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools.
• Familiarity with collaborating with Technical Artists or within 3D/VFX pipelines.
• Curiosity and openness to using AI in creative workflows, with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and art direct all Flow Studio touchpoints, from campaigns to product storytelling.
• Lead art direction across campaigns, product marketing, and social content with high craft standards.
• Develop a distinct, scalable visual system for Flow Studio that stands out.
• Create social-first content across formats and platforms.
• Translate product capabilities, including VFX and simulation, into clear visuals that tell a story.
• Produce assets across motion, static, and digital experiences.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to realize ideas with real customer value.
• Work with Technical Artists and VFX specialists to ensure visuals are credible.
• Build scalable design systems and templates to increase speed and consistency.
• Experiment with AI-native tools to enhance output and team efficiency.
• Maintain high craft level while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Push work to feel modern and differentiated within VFX and creative tools space.
• Develop a rich portfolio that defines Flow Studio’s visual presence.
