Job summary

We Are Social in Miami, FL is seeking a Senior Art Director to translate client needs into social-first visual narratives. You will lead the brand creative vision, mentor designers, and push for design excellence with advanced AI tools.

You will collaborate with a large creative team from concept to final delivery, present to clients, and navigate tight deadlines and evolving budgets while protecting the integrity of the vision.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of art direction experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated creative thinking, nuanced typography, and expert-level composition across digital and traditional media.
• Experience presenting and working directly with clients.
• Proficiency across the Adobe Design suite, with fluency in After Effects and Premiere.
• Deep familiarity with ethical AI frameworks and the legalities of AI-generated content in a commercial setting.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Concept and create strong, compelling ideas that resonate with target audiences.
• Design for clients and support agency new business efforts, working within brand guidelines while driving for design excellence.
• Develop creative concepts aligned with strategic client objectives, maintaining agency standards from ideation through final delivery.
• Present and defend art direction to internal leadership and external clients, translating feedback into actionable tasks for the broader team.
• Handle complex project constraints, including tight deadlines and evolving budgets, while protecting the integrity of the original vision.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity with precision and adaptability under pressure.
• Mentor junior and mid-level creatives by offering constructive feedback and supporting continuous visual improvement.
• Use advanced AI tools to strengthen the creative lifecycle, from visual identity generation to rapid video asset creation.
• Apply generative AI in client pitches and prototypes, producing hyper-realistic product shots and fully realized campaign mockups to support new business.
• Research emerging AI trends and tools, leading ethical discussions and establishing best practices for AI usage within the creative department.
• Ideate stories matched to the quality requirements of each social platform.
• Communicate clearly from storyboard through final work, articulating ideas to others with confidence.
• Create visually engaging presentations, develop mockups, and perform light retouching to help sell creative concepts to top clients.
• Collaborate with a large creative team from ideation to execution to ensure ideas are brought to life.
