Job summary

We Are Social is seeking a senior Art Director for the United States to lead creative concepts and art direction across high-profile campaigns. You will design within brand guidelines, defend creative decisions to clients, and mentor a large team of creatives throughout ideation to delivery.

The role requires deep expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Premiere, plus a strong awareness of ethical AI usage.

Qualifications

6+ years of art direction in a fast-paced agency.
Portfolio demonstrates sophisticated creative thinking and typography.
Experience presenting and working directly with clients.
Proficient with Adobe Design Suite; After Effects and Premiere.
Knowledge of ethical AI frameworks in a commercial setting.
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
Mentor junior and mid-level creatives.

Responsibilities

Concept and create strong ideas aligned with brand guidelines.
Design for clients and agency new business efforts from ideation to delivery.
Present and defend art direction to leadership and clients, turning feedback into tasks.
Mentor junior and mid-level creatives to foster high performance.
Implement AI tools to accelerate visual identities and rapid video asset creation.
Research emerging AI trends and establish best practices for AI usage in the department.
Ideate and build stories for social platforms and create realistic mockups.
