Job summary

Kraan Bear Technology (KBITS) in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Army Cyber Systems Engineering Lead to provide enterprise-level integration and technical leadership across requirements, architecture, cybersecurity, software, infrastructure, test, fielding, and sustainment for a strategic Army cyber program.

You will guide cross-discipline teams, perform trade studies and technical reviews, advance Agile DevSecOps, and ensure compliant integration of AI/automation within government

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• 8+ years directly relevant systems engineering experience.
• Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• Leadership of complex Army/cyber/software programs.
• Experience with requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration and baselines.
• Experience integrating RMF into engineering activities.
• Active CISSP and DoW 8140/DCWF readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering planning, governance, and integration across Army cyber capabilities.
• Analyze and decompose requirements with traceability from need to fielding.
• Maintain architectures, interfaces, interoperability, dependencies, baselines.
• Define project scope and sequence engineering objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for software, hardware, networks, cloud, data, AI/ML, DevSecOps, and cyber workstreams.
• Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and design reviews.
• Guide Agile engineering, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Ensure AI/automation use complies with government controls and data handling.
