Job summary

Ghostwerks LLC in Wharton, NJ is seeking a mid-to-senior Mechanical Engineer to provide direct engineering support to the DEVCOM AC FPAD MSD programs at Picatinny Arsenal and related sites.

You will analyze complex challenges, participate in IPTs, and help deliver lifecycle engineering for armaments, ammunition, and maneuver support systems across research, development, modernization, production, fielding, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering.
• 2–7 years of progressively responsible mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience supporting DoD or Army armament programs.
• Experience providing senior-level engineering analyses, technical reviews, and customer-facing support.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle engineering and systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical engineering solutions across R&D, modernization, and production of armaments.
• Support IPTs and technical reviews with government customers.
• Develop procurement packages and evaluate contractor proposals.
• Provide feedback on ECPs and RFVs; support FAT/LAT testing.
• Draft technical documents and brief government stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specs, and military standards; assist in change management.
