With 15+ years in relevant fields, you will mentor teams, nurture client relationships in NY/NJ, and help drive HDR’s employee-owned culture while delivering resilient, safe and sustainable mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in quality, transportation, transit, rail, aviation and design.
• Professional engineering registration and extensive technical expertise.
• Experience leading diverse teams and managing projects in NY/NJ markets.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, monitor and improve area staff competencies.
• Lead training of area staff in technical and business skills.
• Oversee staffing, workload balancing and QA/QC activities.
• Conduct project reviews and support claims management.
• Mentor area staff and oversee standards and processes.
• Collaborate with operations, market sectors and delivery leaders.
• Plan and implement area strategic initiatives.
• Support hiring of key staff and champion BGX opportunities.
• Drive digital delivery evolution with SMEs.
• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed.
• Streamline processes with Area Manager collaboration.
• Perform other duties as needed.
