Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will engage your team to meet customer delivery expectations and collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to implement action plans.

The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours, and flexibility for weekends or overnight work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate hourly team members.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts; adapt to varying environments.
• Support shifts that include weekends and overnight hours.
