Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Hampton, VA is seeking an experienced Area Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will coordinate work orders for production equipment, inspect machines for uptime, and lead maintenance activities with engineering and operations teams.

Strong diagnostic and mentoring skills are essential for driving improvements. The ideal candidate has at least five years in maintenance, two in an industrial setting, and the ability to work with diverse teams to achieve manufacturing

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of five years related maintenance experience.
Minimum of two years in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate work orders for production equipment.
Attend meetings with manufacturing and engineering to scope work and plan repairs.
Inspect machines and equipment for performance and uptime.
Troubleshoot equipment with basic tools and electrical diagnostics.
Train and mentor junior technicians on maintenance best practices.
