Job summary

Google Fort Wayne is seeking a senior logistics leader to optimize daily processes and drive continuous improvements across operations and partner teams. You will oversee NASA Google Cloud Logistics (GCL) initiatives, develop standard documentation, and motivate action with data-driven presentations for leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, performance analysis, and driving efficiencies in data centers and warehouses worldwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in logistics, operations, business, or engineering.
10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain environments managing vendors or 3PL groups.
5 years of experience in a customer-facing role supporting logistics operations.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day logistics operations management and manage Third-Party Logistics vendor operating warehouses and data centers.
Manage metrics for KPIs, vendor scorecards, and business cases to support logistics changes; lead budgeting and capital projects.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
Engage with Google stakeholders to align priorities and scale the business; pursue joint opportunities to improve performance.
Drive continuous initiative to address obstacles for forward and reverse material flows into/out of data centers/warehouses.
