Job summary

The Episcopal Church seeks an Archivist to lead the Archives and manage a staff of archivists, overseeing policy and program development within a transitioning, state-of-the-art headquarters project.

The role requires extensive archives experience, leadership, and collaboration with multiple offices to expand access to a rich documentary heritage and support legal and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires MLIS with archives concentration or graduate degree in archival studies; ACA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in archival settings and 5 years supervising staff.
• Proven record building and leading an archives program; strong relationships and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Archives program, policies, procedures, and priorities.
• Advise leadership on archives, preservation, access, and information governance.
• Collaborate with Records Manager; provide updates to stakeholders on priorities and strategic initiatives.
