Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a primary managerial leader for project-related functions in Phoenix, AZ. You will guide design development, client relations and project delivery across multiple projects, from programming through construction administration.

The role requires extensive leadership, problem-solving and the ability to manage complex client expectations, budgets and schedules in a fast-paced firm. Travel will be required to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Typically 15+ years of architectural project leadership experience.
• Architectural registration strongly preferred; sustainability credentials valued.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and lead project strategies across multiple projects.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation documents, schedules and deliverables.
• Guide design development from programming through construction administration.
• Coordinate project teams and manage internal/external stakeholders.
• Present to clients and lead public or formal review processes.
• Monitor risks and resolve issues with legal and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and QA/QC requirements.
• Lead team performance, scheduling and multi-project leadership.
