Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Job Captain to support the delivery of innovative design projects for diverse clients. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contribute to all phases of design, and provide construction administration support.

You will apply your technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents, coordinate with clients, contractors, and Ware Malcomb staff, and help keep projects on schedule and within

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Architecture required.
• Experience with retail projects preferred.
• Solid knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams across all design phases.
• Provide Revit support for preparation of project documents.
• Utilize company resource groups for design.
• Prepare design and construction documents.
• Assist PM/Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist in preparation of project schedules and budget reviews.
• Provide assistance for submittals to jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb employees.

3+ years of architecture experience

Retail project experience

Knowledge of building codes

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (preferred)
