Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking an Architecture Manager in Atlanta to lead a team of architects and designers from concept through project delivery. The role requires managing client expectations, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring design integrity while meeting budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture, 5+ years of experience with 2+ in a managerial capacity, and strong knowledge of codes, materials, and standards, plus proficiency in AutoCAD or similar

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, regulations, construction materials and methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software programs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of architects and designers to develop and implement architectural plans and designs
• Reviewing project proposals and providing feedback on feasibility, budget, and design elements
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions
• Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects on the team
• Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in architecture
