Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Technologist in Randburg to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings and specs for commercial projects. You will ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client requirements while coordinating with architects, engineers and project managers.

The role requires a National Diploma or Bachelor's in Architectural Technology, SACAP registration is desirable, and at least five years of experience with Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in architectural technology with commercial projects.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings, plans and specs for commercial projects.
• Translate concepts into buildable technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and SANS.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and project managers.
• Prepare documentation for building permits and liaise with consultants.
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress.
