Konik is partnering with an established architectural metals firm in the Twin Cities to hire a Stair, Handrail & Miscellaneous Metals Detailer in Saint Paul, MN. You will create detailed shop drawings for stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal systems and coordinate with fabricators and field teams from design through installation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience detailing commercial architectural metals.
• Proficiency in creating detailed shop drawings for stairs, rails and metals.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed shop fabrication and field erection drawings for architectural metals.
• Develop drawings from architectural and structural plans, specs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with field installers, fabricators, GC's to resolve design/installation challenges.
• Perform site visits to collect field dimensions and verify conditions.
• Maintain drawing files, revisions, approvals, and production documentation.
• Assist shop and field teams with technical drawing questions.
