Ideal candidate brings 15+ years of architectural design experience with a strong technical background, particularly healthcare/government/institutional projects, and proficiency with Revit.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of architectural design experience with a strong technical focus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Extensive experience producing construction documents and detailed drawings.
• Proficiency with Revit and architectural documentation workflows.
• Experience with healthcare, government, institutional, or public-sector facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource supporting complex architectural projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Lead technical design development, including detailing, material selections, specifications, and constructability reviews.
• Investigate project requirements, evaluate technical solutions, and recommend design approaches.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support healthcare and federal project requirements, including applicable building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct site investigations, field observations, and existing condition assessments.
• Participate in or lead project meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and project team members.

This role will serve as a technical expert, translating design concepts into detailed, constructible solutions and supporting projects through design development and construction document preparation.

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $110k– $155k

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of architectural design experience with a strong technical background, particularly within healthcare, government, institutional, or similarly complex project environments. This position is suited for a highly experienced architectural professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the project lifecycle.
