The role requires managing fieldwork, nominations, and multi-disciplinary teams while engaging with clients and agencies. Minimum qualifications include an MA/MHP/MS in architectural history or related field and at least five years of project management experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: MA/MHP/MS in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum experience: At least five years of experience managing architectural history field projects.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork including historic resource surveys and evaluations.
• Ability to prepare National Register nominations and conduct archival research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork - including historic resource surveys and evaluations.
• Prepare National Register nominations.
• Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources.
• Lead highly complex projects involving multidisciplinary project teams.
• Effectively discuss projects with colleagues, clients, and review agencies.
• Work directly with current and prospective clients to generate new projects.
• Prepare and manage budgets and schedules; and write professional technical reports and publications.
