Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks a Senior Architectural Engineer at the Clay, NY site. Lead architectural design through design, construction, and closeout, ensuring codes, standards, quality, and safety are met while resolving field issues on large-scale facilities projects.

You will coordinate global design teams, review designs, and support construction activities with a strong emphasis on QA/QC, schedules, and procurement collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of architectural experience, including experience within the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) domain.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable architectural codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architecture designs delivery across global and local project teams, operations, construction teams, vendors, design firms, and other stakeholders
• Review architectural designs and construction work for compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, quality requirements, and safety expectations
• Support construction through RFIs, design reviews, field inspections, scope changes, and evaluation of sequencing, temporary supports, shoring, bracing, and crane/loading plans
• Coordinate architectural construction, QA/QC, testing, commissioning, punch-list activities, documentation, and final system handover
• Track and communicate architectural scope progress, schedules, costs, risks, and high-risk construction activities while providing technical support to Procurement and project stakeholders

As a Senior Architectural Engineer, you will provide architectural engineering leadership throughout design, construction, and project closeout. You will help ensure architectural designs meet applicable codes, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards while supporting teams in resolving field issues and successfully delivering large-scale projects.

• Experience coordinating large-scale projects across global teams
• Proficiency with project management software and tools
• Proficiency using artificial intelligence tools in an engineering or project delivery environment

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$99,000.00 - $169,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
