Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer to lead architectural projects from concept through construction for residential and commercial work. You will ensure design solutions meet client objectives, codes, and firm standards while coordinating with the Principal Architect and project teams.

The role involves mentoring junior staff, overseeing documentation, and managing multiple projects. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and visualization tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 8–10 years of professional architectural experience, including demonstrated senior design.
• Experience with residential and commercial project types.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development through schematic design to construction admin.
• Prepare and oversee design and construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits to document conditions for design development.
• Perform code analysis to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Select and specify materials, fixtures, and finishes within budget.
• Review construction documents for accuracy and coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate design intent.
• Utilize Revit and other software to support design and documentation.
