Job summary

Toll Brothers, a Fortune 500 luxury homebuilder, seeks a Senior Architectural CAD Technician for its Toll Architecture team in Grapevine, Texas. You will contribute to production drafting, maintaining construction documents and permit sets, and collaborating across departments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related experience, an associate degree or technical certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word, with preferred knowledge of SketchUp and BIM360.

• Collaborate with multiple departments to complete drafting tasks.
• Proven experience in architectural drafting and producing permit construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents and permit sets as part of a production drafting team.
• Follow project standards, workflows, and accepted procedures for complex assignments.
• Prepare files for use by other stakeholders and assist with model revisions.
• Collaborate with architectural stacks and team members to share knowledge and improve processes.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy in all drafting outputs.

What is the opportunity?

Highly skilled production drafting role working as part of a team developing/maintaining construction documents and permit sets. Capable of working independently on complex assignments as needed.

Do you have these qualifications?

• Essential:
  • Min. Required Education - Associate Degree or equivalent vocational/technical certification
  • Required Software -AutoCAD, Excel, Word
  • Architectural knowledge required
  • 3+ years previous related experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Work in office 3-days per week. Additional in office days vary per Division/Department.
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Architecture
  • Software -SketchUp, BIM360
  • Construction knowledge
  • Residential knowledge
