Job summary

DLR Group is an integrated design firm focused on elevating the human experience through thoughtful architecture. As Senior Architect, you will lead project development, manage team delivery, and ensure quality across documentation, schedules, and budgets within our integrated design teams.

You will partner with the Project Manager to ensure financial health, risk prevention, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while guiding design excellence and sustainable outcomes across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Architecture required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional architecture experience.
  • Licensure as an architect is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam and other standard software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project development, client relationships, and project implementation with the Project Manager and Project Designer.
  • Oversee quality assurance/control, adherence to practice standards, and protocol compliance.
  • Align design intent with project schedules, budgets, and profitability targets.
  • Spearhead conceptual design and technical strategies, coordinating all disciplines involved in building design.
  • Present design and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and lead teams to produce high-quality deliverables and drive innovative design excellence.
  • Execute quality assurance and control measures throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and design team, ensuring alignment on design intent.
  • Manage client expectations and foster strong relationships through effective presentations and engagement.
  • Ensure timely project delivery while meeting budget and profitability goals.

Position Summary

As a Senior Architect at DLR Group, you will take on a leadership role in managing key aspects of projects, overseeing the development and delivery of project documentation. You will collaborate closely with integrated design teams to produce high-quality work, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

As part of our integrated design team, you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design. You will partner directly with the Project Manager to ensure the financial health of the project, the quality of project documents, claim prevention, team collaboration and communication. Additionally, you will lead the cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions.

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architecture
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to coordinate and contribute to design and technical solutions
  • Professional licensureProficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and other standard architecture software
  • Ability to lead sustainable design principles in technical plans and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong organizational abilities
  • Active participation in professional organizations and involvement in marketing and business development activities

Pay Range

$100,000 - $140,000 USD
