Responsibilities

• Assist in DOB and DOH code review and building analysis.
• Lead production of architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents.
• Coordinate architectural documents with other consultants.
• Review and markup architectural documents before submission.
• Respond to RFIs during GC bidding and construction administration.
• Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports.

Senior Architect Project Professional

New York, NY OR Melville, NY

Our architecture firm client is an award-winning provider of innovative design solutions. They have an immediate need within their Healthcare Division for a Senior Project Professional with 10 years of experience working on inpatient and ambulatory care projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in DOB and DOH code review, and building analysis
• Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam
• Interface with the clients and consultants
• Lead the production of the architectural set of drawings from schematic design through construction documents
• Coordination of architectural documents with other consultants
• Review and mark up architectural documents
• Respond to RFI’s during the GC Bidding phase
• Review and process of shop drawings and submittals during construction administration
• Respond to RFI’s during construction
• Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
• A strong understanding and experience with NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 for Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure

Annual Salary Range*: $90K to $130K
