Harriman’s growing multi-disciplinary practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architect - Project Manager to join our team. With a holistic, ground-up approach to design, our architectural staff works closely with the firm’s integrated engineering groups to fulfill our mission to design relevant and innovative solutions to human needs. Our work is challenging, creative, and based on the belief that design is a collaborative human endeavor centered on knowledge, ingenuity, and beauty.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, developing, and executing medium-to-large scope projects with many complexities under minimal supervision. They may oversee a large staff of architects and technicians and are responsible for coordinating architectural design with all engineering disciplines and specialty consultants. They interpret, organize, execute, and delegate assignments to team members. They develop creative and practical design solutions to complex issues through research, communication, technical skills, and experience. They will take a leadership role within their assigned studio through mentoring, peer review, business development, client management, and design strategy.
