Job Description
We are looking to add new players to our team based on our clients needs. We have continued to grow and deemed essential employees to our clients. This position has high visibility to our clients and we are looking for the right performers.
Position Description: The Project Manager - Senior Architect - Healthcare Design Projects will ideally be a licensed architect with no less than 7 years of design experience to include both healthcare and commercial facilities. The position will require some travel, occasionally overnight, to conduct field investigation and attend project meetings. Candidate must be able to pass a Federal Government background check for badging and access purposes to project sites.
This position will lead design teams consisting of Intern and Project Architects while interfacing with MEP team members or consultants to ensure the production is performed in a timely manner. You will meet with clients and be the liaison throughout the stages of the design process. Editing specifications and creating cost estimates will be part of the design submission process going from schematic design through construction documents. Most of the projects are at Federal facilities on the east coast in which you will travel to for design charrettes and field investigation on an occasional basis. We will additionally be responsible for construction period services involving an occasional visit to the site for inspections of the contractors work. This position will report direct to a company principal.
Qualified candidates should be organized, possess technical expertise, and have strong communication skills. Candidate will adhere to industry standards in design and coordinate architectural/engineering design. Knowledge of LEED a plus. Those that can produce with Revit as well as manage others producing in Revit will be a strong fit.
