The opportunity
We're recruiting a Senior Architect / Programmer Analyst for an established organization with high-volume distribution operations.
This role is for someone who understands how warehouse and transportation operations work—and can get into the code and database that support them. You'll help maintain and modernize proprietary WMS/TMS applications that are essential to inventory movement, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation.
The position combines approximately 60% technical leadership and solution architecture with 40% hands-on development. As a senior individual contributor reporting directly to technology leadership, you'll partner with operations stakeholders, guide technical decisions, and remain actively involved in development and production problem-solving.
An early priority will be structured knowledge transfer from an experienced system expert. Longer term, you'll help shape these applications through practical, incremental modernization—not a wholesale replacement of the existing WMS.

We're looking for a combination of warehouse and transportation systems knowledge, hands-on programming ability, and practical technical leadership. Experience owning and evolving customized distribution applications is more important than matching every tool in the environment.

Base salary is $140,000. Bonus details are to be confirmed.
Benefits include health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k).
The process includes an initial technical conversation, an onsite technical interview, an HR interview, and a final discussion with technology leadership.
