Southwick Architecture + Interiors in the Charlotte metro area is seeking a Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of hospitality and retail projects. This on-site role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors while guiding project teams through complex schedules and budgets.

You will ensure design quality and technical accuracy, mentor junior staff, and support business development with professional representation of the firm.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture with licensure progress preferred.
• Experience in hospitality/retail or interiors-driven work is advantageous.
• Strong design and technical execution capabilities, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure design quality and technical accuracy across drawings and specs.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a positive team culture.
• Oversee code compliance and construction administration.
• Support interior design integration to maintain a cohesive vision.
• Represent the firm in business development and client relations.
