Job summary

Terracon is seeking a senior architect to lead complex projects across commercial, retail, multi-family, and governmental sectors. You will provide architectural and consulting services, lead field investigations, develop plans and specifications, and review reports for accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, quality monitoring, risk management, and technical direction, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to marketing and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 8–11 years of professional experience.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for the team and promote safe work practices.
• Monitor and improve project quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project-related risks.
• Provide technical direction for complex projects.
• Conceptualize initial design for major phases of projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate architectural/engineering tasks.
• Review complex reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Lead technical training and support business development.
• May supervise junior staff on projects.
• Serve as Authorized Project Reviewer.
