Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design efforts across projects, prepare construction documents, and guide production quality. The role requires independent decisions on complex design problems and coordination with multi-discipline teams.

You will manage project information, monitor progress, and participate in staffing decisions while maintaining schedule and budget. A RA license may be required; apply with relevant portfolio.

Qualifications

• B.A. Architecture is required.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
• Detail oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge of construction techniques and ability to read plans and specs; understanding of conceptual design.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of project design concepts and criteria.
• Makes recommendations on project staffing.
• Organizes and manages project information and records systems.
• Designs structures of varying size and prepares architectural working drawings and related project documents.
• Monitors project progress to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Makes recommendations on design alternatives and assists in proposal preparation.
• May plan, organize and supervise architectural design activities for a project of significant size and complexity.
• Leads and works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
