Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking an experienced Architect to join our Missoula or Bozeman offices. You will independently contribute to planning, design, and delivery of architectural projects, providing technical and design leadership.

Licensure plus 8+ years of experience, with strong BIM skills, are required for this role. You will mentor teammates, coordinate with consultants, and ensure adherence to codes and standards across multiple project types, including high-end residential and commercial

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited architecture degree required.
• Current architectural license/registration.
• 8+ years of progressive professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong Adobe Bluebeam and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conception to completion with high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models across phases.
• Develop schematic and design development concepts with leadership.
• Mentor junior team members and lead small project teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and constructability.
