Job summary

Laberge Group is seeking a licensed Architect in Albany, NY to lead small–mid‑size projects from design through construction administration. You will work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors, applying IBC knowledge and producing coordinated construction docs. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of U.S.

experience, strong design and communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. A potential hybrid schedule may apply, with in-office and remote days, and licensure support

Qualifications

• Professional architecture degree required (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Licensed architect with 10+ years of U.S. experience in small to mid-sized commercial projects.
• Proven ability to produce coordinated documentation for permit and construction.
• Strong design, technical, and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (or Revit LT) for design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from schematic design through construction administration in New York.
• Translate client requirements into clear design solutions.
• Prepare high-quality construction documents.
• Ensure code compliance and effective stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
