Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a seasoned architect in Pensacola, FL to lead design and delivery of complex projects in healthcare and education sectors. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure constructible documents, and guide project leadership from design through closeout.

Position is office-based with travel up to 20%, offering mentorship to junior staff and collaboration across offices. Florida licensure or the ability to obtain licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Florida architectural license or ability to become licensed in Florida.
• 8+ years of relevant architectural experience.
• Specialized experience in Healthcare and Education environments.
• Proficiency with Revit and producing coordinated construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and execution of complex architectural projects from early concepts through construction and closeout.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and internal department leaders.
• Produce and oversee technically accurate, code-compliant construction documents with emphasis on constructability.
• Perform multidisciplinary QA/QC reviews to maintain design standards and reduce project risk.
• Lead construction administration activities, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, permitting, and project closeout.
• Translate client requirements into architectural and technical solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource on building systems and construction methods.
• Define project scopes, schedules, and consultant responsibilities.
• Mentor junior staff and share expertise across teams.
