Job summary

BSA, located in St. Louis, seeks an experienced Architect to lead design documentation across disciplines and guide project delivery with a focus on healing, learning, and discovery environments.

You will mentor staff, oversee multi-discipline coordination, and engage in design reviews to raise the bar on quality while balancing scope, budget, and schedule. This is a hybrid role based in the St. Louis studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect with current license.
• NCARB certification.
• 15+ years of architectural experience, including healing/learning environments.
• Experience on large projects with greater oversight.
• Knowledge of sustainability strategies and rating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of fully coordinated, high-quality design documents across all disciplines.
• Support, oversee, and evaluate the work of architectural team; be a resource to other disciplines.
• Coordinate design document preparation across all disciplines.
• Guide the architectural design delivery process ensuring alignment with project vision.
• Participate in project reviews and lead design discussions to elevate quality.
• Balance creativity with constraints like scope, budget, and schedule.
• Mentor staff and develop team members.
• Guide delivery decisions to meet client challenges.
