Job summary

Lawrence Group in St. Louis is seeking an Interior Designer with 7-10 years of healthcare experience to join our St. Louis Healthcare team. You will lead design development from concept through construction, develop presentations for clients and BD opportunities, and mentor the design team.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the team to deliver innovative, evidence-based healing environments, manage finish materials, and coordinate with consultants. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
• NCIDQ certification preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Healthcare project experience preferred (5+ years in a commercial design/architecture firm).
• Basic/entry level project management skills including schedules and mentorship.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, Bluebeam, MS Office, Enscape, and Adobe CS.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete interior construction document packages using Revit and BIM 360.
• Support BIM model coordination and documentation quality.
• Prepare finish, furniture, and material documentation; assist with planning and coordination.
• Participate in QA reviews and manage design documentation.
• Support construction administration through RFIs and submittals.
• Assist project managers with schedules, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Support design presentations with finishes and renderings.
• Deliver accurate, coordinated documents with strong attention to detail.
