BSA is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead architectural design and planning on a wide range of projects, including complex initiatives, while maintaining a high level of client engagement throughout all phases of the process, with a significant focus on Construction Administration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and oversee the architectural design and documentation for projects from concept through completion.
  • Execute design intent in alignment with the overall project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure complete and accurate project coordination between all disciplines and design components, including work with outside consultants.
  • Coordinate and manage construction administration efforts, providing oversight for all related activities or full-time construction administration team members on various projects.
  • Oversee the delivery of fully coordinated, high-quality design documents, ensuring alignment across all disciplines.
  • Mentor and support the architectural team by teaching, guiding, and developing staff, fostering growth in design and technical expertise.
  • Serve as a resource for the design and technical delivery of all project aspects, using personal expertise to guide the next generation of talent within the firm.
  • Guide architectural staff in making decisions that lead to high-quality solutions, addressing client challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and execute successful project workplans.
  • Guide the development and presentation of design ideas, planning concepts, and architectural details to clients.
  • Ensure the final detailing, material selections, and specifications align with project objectives and architectural concepts.
  • Provide leadership and support across the team on various projects, ensuring smooth delivery and adherence to high standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Professional Licensure: Licensed Architect with current registration. NCARB certification preferred.
  • Experience: At least 12 years related experience. Experience working on healing, learning, and/or discovery project types preferred.
