Job summary

OMA is seeking senior architects/designers to join its New York office. You will contribute across all phases—from concept to construction—driving design direction, documentation, and client coordination. Strong leadership, technical and communication skills are essential for high-level delivery.

You will mentor teams, work with consultants and partners, and potentially lead specific design or documentation tasks depending on project needs. Fluency in English and US code knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years' experience across all design phases (design to execution).
• Professional or graduate degree in architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Suite.
• Knowledge of US building codes and standards.
• Portfolio of realized/published projects across a wide range of programs.
• Excellent communication and coordination through all phases to clients and consultants.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop project design direction with project leaders and design teams.
• Produce and coordinate technical documentation.
• Oversee project realization and construction documentation.
• Lead teams on specific aspects of a project as needed.
• Collaborate with consultants, associates and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
