Job summary

Exponent seeks a Senior Architect or Architectural Engineer to lead and grow our Civil & Structural Engineering practice across multiple U.S. offices including Seattle. You will influence project direction, conduct envelope failure analyses, and perform field surveys while coordinating with a national team.

The position requires a Ph.D./M.S. in architectural engineering or architecture with 2–3 years of consulting experience; US work authorization and licensure (PE and/or AIA) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• 2–3 years of consulting experience related to buildings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.
• Professional license in Engineering (PE) and/or Architecture (AIA) in the United States.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to present to specialists and non‑specialists alike.
• Clear written communication and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.

• Conducting analytical and computer problem solving.
