The role requires 20+ years in architectural design, RA licensure, and proven leadership in hyperscale, colocation, or data center environments. Travel up to 25% and hybrid work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 20+ years of experience in architectural design, with 15+ years in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Licensed Architect (RA) with strong knowledge of building codes, ADA, and sustainability frameworks.
• Proven expertise in site planning, envelope design, modular construction, and BIM coordination.
• Proven record of technical innovation solving client's challenges.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design quality and consistency across programs, advancing Jacobs’ standards for mission-critical facilities.
• Shape upfront planning strategies with hyperscale clients and drive innovation in modularization and envelope systems.
• Represent Jacobs’ design expertise in client engagements and strategic pursuits.
• Mentor architects and contribute to thought leadership within the data center practice.
