American Institute of Architecture Students seeks an experienced architect to lead construction administration and site activities across multiple projects. You will oversee field observations, meetings, submittals and RFIs while ensuring code compliance and design integrity.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, coordination with clients and consultants, and mentorship of junior staff within a collaborative, hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Current Registered Architect license or close to completion.
• 8-12+ years of professional architectural experience with PM, delivery, and C.A.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with Newforma and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, specs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Construction Administration & Site Leadership: oversee construction-phase services across concurrent projects.
• Technical Oversight & Quality Control: review shop drawings, samples, and changes to uphold design intent and code compliance.
• Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination: partner with clients, contractors and consultants to resolve issues.
• Team Mentorship: provide technical guidance to junior staff and design teams.

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

• 8-12+ years of professional architectural experience, with a strong background in project management, technical delivery, and construction administration.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with project management platforms such as Newforma and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, specifications, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction Administration & Site Leadership: Oversee construction-phase services across concurrent projects, including site observations, project meetings, submittals, and RFI reviews.
• Technical Oversight & Quality Control: Evaluate shop drawings, material samples, and proposed changes to uphold design intent, code compliance, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination: Partner with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary consultants to resolve technical challenges and ensure coordinated project delivery.
• Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and ongoing mentorship to junior architectural staff and design teams.
