Position Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Architect to join our team and drive business development efforts.

This role is ideal for a Licensed Architect who is energized by relationship-building, strategic outreach, and identifying new opportunities. While you’ll understand the design process deeply, your primary purpose is to drive business development, strengthen client relationships, and position the firm for long‑term success. Additionally, you’ll provide mentorship and support staff development and lend design and project management expertise to bolster project quality and facilitate a culture of innovation and excellence in design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development initiatives across target markets, including outreach, networking, and strategic partnership cultivation
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities aligned with the firm’s goals
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape market strategy and growth plans
  • Support proposal development, interviews, and presentations with compelling storytelling and design insight
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure client needs and project goals are clearly communicated
  • Provide mentorship and staff development to the Texas Architecture Team
  • Assist Texas Architecture Team members with design solutions and quality assurance on client projects
Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture and Professional Architecture License
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture, business development, or a hybrid role
  • Strong understanding of the design and construction process
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated track record in mentoring and developing staff and teams
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
