Job summary

Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation seeks an Archaeology Technician Senior to support archaeology, TCP, collections, cultural plants, and museum work in Nespelem, WA. You’ll perform a range of duties from general office tasks to assisting senior staff and working independently.

The position is contract funded with no guarantee of continued employment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or degree in Anthropology, Native American Studies, Botany, or Museology, a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and three years' experience or a degree demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position in Anthropology, Native American Studies, Botany/Plant Ecology, or Museology/Collection Management.
• Requires a valid driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' vehicle insurance and maintain throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cultural resources work focusing on archaeology, TCP, collections, cultural plants, and museum - as assigned.
• The job functions will vary between general office work to assisting senior staff and working independently.
• Position is contract funded-no guarantee of continued employment should funding cease.
