Job summary

An environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Archaeologist to conduct archaeological support including research, field work, and reporting in Indiana. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Archaeology or a closely related field. The role involves project management and coordinating with various stakeholders. Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in the technical discipline required.
• Experience in conducting and/or directing archaeological tasks.
• Professional certifications and association membership participation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting CHRIS record searches and primary/secondary archival research.
• Manage small to medium size projects including preparation and management of work breakdown structures.
• Coordinate with state and federal agencies and Native American representatives.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or closely related field
