Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an ESRI developer to strengthen ArcGIS platform capabilities and address a critical gap in a specialized geospatial ecosystem. This role will advance enterprise GIS initiatives, supporting mission-critical applications and enabling scalable geospatial data services across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-impact team focused on ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and custom GIS solutions.

Qualifications

1-5 years of experience with Esri ArcGIS technologies
Hands-on with ArcGIS Enterprise / Server, ArcGIS Online
Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API or SDKs
Strong GIS concepts, spatial data, and geodatabases
Experience with Python, JavaScript, or .NET for geospatial development
Familiarity with REST services and API integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Design and engineering approach for complex GIS features within the enterprise portfolio
Define technology tool stack and evaluate new testing tools/frameworks
Enable CI/CD capabilities across teams and engage with stakeholders
Guide design and best practices for high code performance
Deliver end-to-end features, including automation, across teams
Research and prototype new toolsets for release management and CI/CD
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable geospatial solutions
Design, develop, and maintain applications leveraging the Esri ArcGIS platform
Build and support web GIS applications with ArcGIS JS APIs and REST services
Document solutions and build institutional knowledge
