Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Arabic Linguist to support national security missions. You will translate materials between Arabic and English, provide consecutive and occasional simultaneous interpretation, and generate high‑quality transcripts and English reports from audio/visual content.

The role requires a BA with 12+ years or a Master’s with 10+ years of experience, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to pass language tests.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Translation and/or interpretation degree highly desired.
• HLT experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate materials from Arabic into English and vice versa with contextual accuracy.
• Provide consecutive and occasional simultaneous interpretation.
• Transcribe audio/video and produce English reports from materials.
• Identify and summarize key facts and abstract concepts from large datasets.
